The real concern with an undiagnosed not properly medicated BD person apart from their more often extreme tendencies, extra lack of overall control and resulting excessive things they do and the risks they might take and in particular the possible dangers that might pose to others is they may well experience something very traumatic which then eventually tips them over the edge and off the rails. That can have horrendous impacts not only on them themselves but those around them and in particular the excruciating suffering, hardship and heartbreak on those extra close to them and in particular a parent and/or parents over the subsequent months, years or even possibly decades.
